Introduction

Angeles Crest Engineering Inc develops and designs mechanical and fluid systems for aerospace and terrestrial applications and we specialize in aerospace propulsion systems and components.

Since we opened in 1997, we have successfully developed, designed, and qualified hardware for numerous spacecraft and launch vehicle systems. Our customers include Aerojet, BAE Systems, Boeing, Hamilton Sundstrand, Lockheed Martin, NASA, Northrop Grumman, Orbital Sciences and SpaceX. Our design offices are in Pasadena, CA and we have a laboratory and spaceflight hardware integration facility in Azusa, CA. The Azusa facility has a twelve-foot centrifuge for high g fluid dynamic testing and an advanced material laboratory for propellant compatibility testing. We have developed databases for concentrated hydrogen peroxide compatibility with metals and non-metallic materials and for hydrazine compatibility with aluminum surfaces treated by a process developed by us for producing highly wettable surfaces to allow aluminum to be used for high performance surface tension PMDs

We use advanced analysis techniques and perform targeted testing to accelerate the design cycle and use integrated CAD tools to enable a seamless interface with the design database for manufacturing. We are committed to continual improvement of our engineering processes that are used for designing and developing mechanical systems.
